MRS. NUGENT. AKA - "Maistreas Nuinsion." Irish, Air or Planxty (whole or cut time). D Minor. Standard tuning (fiddle). One Part (Thompson): AB. Composed by blind Irish harper Turlough O'Carolan (1670-1738). "Mrs. Nugent" is presumably the wife of "annotation:John Nugent," although John had two wives and it is not know which was honored by the composition.
