OXFORD MINUET [1]. Old-Time, Dance Tune (March & Two-step). USA; Arizona, New Mexico, Texas. G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AB. Oxford Minuet is a ballroom couple dance once popular at square dances in the southwest United States. It is a composite dance, with strain of the music played at a different tempo. Viola Ruth's version conforms with the c. 1890's sheet music [1].
