La Madeleine researcher Jean Duval (2019) notes that fiddler Isidore Soucy (with his son Fernando at the piano) revived this piece 1941 under the title "Reel de la paix (1)," staying close to La Madeleine's version. Compare the second strain (in 'D') with "Bonaparte Crossing the Rhine (1)."
