TINKER'S REEL [1], THE (Cor na Stanadoir). AKA and see “Free and Easy (2)," “Mulqueen's,” “Spindleshanks,” “Spinkle Shanks (1)." Irish, (Single) Reel. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AB. The first strain is shared with "Lisburn Lasses (1) (The), but the second parts are different. Paul de Grae, who does not find the reel in collections earlier than Dance Music of Ireland (1907), suggests that both "Tinker's Reel [1]" and "Lisburn Lasses" are variations by Francis O'Neill's collaborator James O'Neill (no relation) on the tune "Free and Easy (2)"^[1].
