Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The source for "Top of the Morning (3)" is County Clare musician Micho Russell, transcribed by Brendan Breathnach from his playing in May, 1971. Russell, said that his source for the reel was another Clare musician, Paddy Moloney, who played the harmonica (mouth organ). The tune has most often been recorded under titles "Doonagore" or "Micho Russell's Reel."
