Aberdeenshire fiddler-composer "wikipedia:James_Scott_Skinner (1846-1927) composed the tune as “Flower o’ the Quern (The).” It acquired the “Tribute to the Queen” title from a recording by Mull fiddler Pibroch MacKenzie.
