VAN ROTTERDAM OP DORT. English, Country Dance Tune (cut time). D Minor ('B' part in F Major?). Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The name is Dutch, implying origins in that country; however, the melody is from Straight and Skillern's Two Hundred & Four Country Dances (vol. 1, p. 20, 1775), reprinted in Skillern’s Compleat Collection of Two Hundred & Four Reels…Country Dances (p. 92, 1780).

Dort or Dordrecht is a city of southwest Netherlands on the Meuse River southeast of Rotterdam.
