JOHNSON'S RAG. AKA - "Johnson Rag." American, Rag. USA, Central Pa. In the repertory of Buffalo Valley, Pa., dance fiddler Ralph Sauers. However is was a sixteen bar composition by Guy Hall & Henry Kleinkauf, copyrighted in 1917. The piece was largely forgotten until it was reworked by Glenn Miller into a hit swing piece in the 1940's.
