RING O' BELLS. English, Morris Dance Tune (2/4 tune). G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). ABABAABB. Collected from the village of Lichfield, Staffordshire, England. The dance from that village is performed with sticks and seems descriptive to some of bell-ringing. However, the title is not named after musical bell-ringing, but rather one of the two public houses of that name which used to exist in Lichfield.
