BACACH NA CLEITHE. AKA and see "Aineen's Double," "Cherry Grove Jig," "Coffee and Tea (2)," "Connie the Soldier," "Ghaoth Aniar Andeas (An)" (The South-West Wind), "Jimmy the Tailor." Irish, Jig. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. Although Irish artist and collector George Petrie (1790-1866) gave 'D' major as the key, it works well in the mixolydian mode as well. Bacah (or bacagh) means "the lame".
