'TIS ALL FOR THE LOVE OF THE WIDOW. American (?), Air (6/8 time). D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). One part. A song written in the 1840's, "adapted and arranged" by James Hunter and published in Baltimore in 1845 by F.D. Benteen. Howe categorizes the tune among the ‘songs’ section.
