A.J. Wighton of Dundee's Strathspey. Scottish, Strathspey (whole time). E Dorian. Standard tuning (fiddle). AAB. Composed by John Brown. Andrew ("A.J.") Wighton was a grocer, 'tea wine and spirit merchant" who lived in Hiltown, Dundee, in the first half of the 19th century. He also was a keen amateur musician and an luthier of some renown, some of whose cellos and violins are extant today.
