ACROBAT'S REEL. AKA and see “Baker's Reel (1) (The),” "Spitfire Reel (1)," “Whistler and His Dog (The).” Canadian, Reel (2/4 time). A Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AA'BB'. This title was recorded for His Master's Voice in the 1930's by the Canadian group George Wade and his Cornhuskers. The melody was also recorded by Graham Townsend as part of a medley for a step dance on his recording "Fiddling Through the Years."
