ALAMOOTIE, DA. Scotland, Reel. Scotland, Shetland Isles. "Da Alamootie" was composed in 1981 by the late Shetland teacher, composer, fiddler and collector Tom Anderson. 'Alamootie' is the Shetland name for the Stormy Petrel (a bird).
