ANN FROM MONAGHAN. Irish, Reel. Composed by County Cavan/Philadelphia fiddler and composer Ed Reavy (1898-1988). Ann was a favorite aunt of Reavy's on his mother's side. She was a great storyteller with an affinity for children and her memory (and the memory of her tales) was a lifelong inspiration for Reavy, according to the family.
