BALLROOM FAVOURITE NO. 1. Irish, "Barn Dance" (4/4 time). D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The tune bears many similarities to Louis Beaudoin's "Reel des deux Lisas," but it is probably not cognate. It is possible Beaudoin heard McKenna's recording at some point and absorbed melodic material into his musical subconscious.
