BLUE ANGEL, THE. AKA and see "Flying Crowbar (The)," "King's Fancy." Irish, Jig (6/8 time). D Major ('A' part) & B Minor ('B' part) {Alewine}: E Flat Major ('A' part) & C Minor ('B' part). Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The jig is attributed to Dublin/Belfast piano player Liam King, and was first recorded in 1965 by fiddler Sean Maguire and the Four Star Quartet. It is sometimes set in the keys of Bb/Gm.
