BRICKYARD JOE [3]. American, Reel (cut time). G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. "Brickyard Joe [3]" was in the repertoire of fiddler Kelly Gilbert (1895-1991), of Frankfort, Kentucky. Collector John Harrod believes this to be the older of the two Kentucky versions of the tune. According to Jeff Titon (2001) it is more common in the central part of the state.
