Back to Bring Home the Bride[edit]

BRING HOME THE BRIDE. Irish, March (4/4 time). G Dorian. Standard tuning (fiddle). AB. Joyce notes this is a 'hauling home' tune, i.e. a melody played to accompany the bride and groom from the church to their house after the wedding. See also "Óró Welcome Home" for another Irish 'hauling home' tune and further comments.
