BURN'S IRISH HORNPIPE. American (?), Hornpipe (whole time). D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The provenance is, as indicated in Ryan's title, Irish, and appears to be derived from uilleann piper O'Farrell's "Miss Carroll's Hornpipe" (1804). See also P.W. Joyce's related "Cordick's Hornpipe," and O'Neill's "Pleasures of Hope (1)."
