"Burt Anderson's Tune" is from the playing of Cumberland Plateau fiddler Clyde Davenport, born in 1921, of Monticello, the county seat of Wayne County, south-central Kentucky (on the border with Tennessee). The title was perhaps originally 'Byrd Anderson'.
