CAPUCHINE COTILLON, LA. AKA and see "Capuchine de Maidon (Le)." English, Reel. England, Northumberland. G Major. Standard tuning. AABB. Apparently a French cotillion, as the same melody (with the title "Le Capuchine de Maidon") appears in Randall & Abell's Sixteen Cotillons or French Dances as Performed ...Court..Public Assemblies (London, c. 1768).
