CAVEHILL. Scottish, Jig. G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. Cavehill is a height overlooking Belfast, County Antrim, Ireland, topped by a rath (prehistoric fort). There are man-made caves that are thought to have been produced by ancient iron mining.

The first strain of the Cape Breton "John Dan MacPherson's Jig" appears to be cognate with the first strain of "Cavehill."
