Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The first and second strains are often transposed from one version to another. Ohio fiddler John Baltzell (1860-1940) recorded the tune in 1928 for Edison as "Paddy Ryan's Favorite Irish Jig," while Brooklyn accordion player John J.
