CHARLES REYNOLDS. Canadian, Reel (2/4 time). Canada, Cape Breton. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AB. Composed on May, 10, 1973, by Cape Breton fiddler and composer Dan R. MacDonald (1911-1976). Charles Reynolds was a producer of CBC TV's show "The Ceilidh" and also produced and directed the film "Vanishing Cape Breton Fiddler," a gentle exploration of traditional Scottish Highland fiddle music in Cape Breton in the early 1970s.
