CHICAGO GLIDE. American, Dance Tune (2/4 and 3/4 time). F Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). One part. Appears to develop into a waltz. Chicago takes its name from the Native American word chicagou, or the onion place, a hollow where wild garlic grew at the southern tip of Lake Michigan.
