CIRCLE [2]. American, Reel (2/4 time). G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The tune is attributed to one I.O. Casey in Bisbee's manuscript. The title probably refers to its use as a vehicle for a circle dance, as Bisbee's collection had several tunes entitled "Circle."

Source for notated version: the 1904 music manuscript collection of Clinton W. Bisbee of New Sumner, Maine. Bisbee copied a portion, if not all of his collection from an 1864 manuscript by fiddler Frank Richardson of Mt. Vernon, Maine.
