COPEY'S JIGG. AKA and see "Cossey's Jig," "Jimmy O'Brien's Jig," "Maid in the Meadow (1)." Irish, Jig. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABBCC. The jig is attributed to the Irish uilleann piper and composer Walter "Piper" Jackson in London flute teacher John Clinton's Gems of Ireland. The first part of the tune is similar to "Greenfields of America (1)."
