COUNTESS OF AIRLY. AKA and see "Money Musk (1)/Monymusk/Moniemusk." Scottish, Strathspey. G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AAB. "In the early 18th century this tune was known as 'The Countess of Airly'. It came from the village of Money Musk, in Aberdeenshire, Scotland" (Linscott, 1939). Glen attributes the composition to John Bowie and notes it can be found in Charles Duff's collection.
