DALLAS BOUND. Old-Time, Country Rag. G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AA'BB'. The city of Dallas, Texas, was named for an American vice-president, George Dallas, though the name Dallas itself has Celtic origins (the town of Dallas is in Morayshire, Scotland) and means "meadow by the wood" (Matthews, 1972).
