DARLING LOVELY SUE. Irish, Hornpipe (4/4 time). D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. Francis O'Neill included this tune that he remembered as an air to which songs and parodies were written in the mid-to-latter 19th century. He thought "being good hornpipe, or rather clog rhythm, it may be regarded as worthy of preservation."
