DEVIL'S DELIGHT. Canadian, Reel. Canada; Cape Breton, Prince Edward Island. A Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. Composed by fiddler and composer Dan R. MacDonald (1911-1976, Cape Breton) who originally called it "The Dismal Reel." It was renamed by Aberdeen fiddler J. Murdoch Henderson (1902-1972) who thought it a better tune than the first title deserved.
