DICKSON COUNTY BLUES . AKA - "Dickson County Blues No. 1.," "Dixon County Blues." Old-Time, Breakdown. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. Composed by Arthur Smith, and one of his more popular recording (although the record label issued it as 'Dixon', not 'Dickson' county). The title refers to Dickson County, north-central Tennessee (just west of Nashville), where the fiddler lived.
