DRUNKEN SAILOR [4], THE. American, March (2/4 time). USA, southwestern Pa. G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. This fife march is not related to any of the above versions, and Bayard (1981) has identified it as a 2/4 version of "St. Patrick's Day in the Morning." It seems unique under this title to Bayard's source.

Source for notated version: Clyde Lloyd (Indiana County, Pa., 1952) [Bayard].

Printed sources: Bayard (Dance to the Fiddle, March to the Fife ), 1981; No. 225, p. 183
