DULCIE BELL. English, Waltz. Played on solo duclicmer, plucked with the fingernails (rather than wool covered beaters), by Hingham, Norfolk, musician Billy Cooper (1893-1964). It was a tune he learned from his father who had been a locally renowned dulcimer and concertina player, and bandmaster and euphonium player with the Hingham and Watton band. It is thought his father may have composed the tune.
