E PLURIBUS UNUM. American, March (6/8 time). USA, southwestern Pa. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AB. This fife tune is presumed to be American, states Bayard (1981), who indicates it was held in esteem by martial bands in Pennsylvania.
