EALS FOR EVER. English, Hornpipe. England, Northumberland. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. Composed by Robert Whinham (1814-1893), a musician, teacher, composer, dancing master and fiddler, originally from Morpeth. Graham Dixon (1995) notes that Eals is a hamlet on the banks of the South River Tyne, between Alston and Haltwhistle, Northumberland.
