ENCHANTED LADY, THE. AKA and see "Green Wood Lasses (The)," "Maid of Athlone (The)," "Morrison's Reel (4)." Irish, Reel. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AB. The tune was originally recorded in New York in 1939 by fiddler Paddy Killoran, paired with the reel "Holy Land (The)." The set was recreated by fiddler Kevin Burke on the Bothy Band's 1977 album. O'Neill (1903) prints a version of the tune as "Maid of Athlone (The)."
