FAVORITE JIG [6], A. AKA - "Laugh Eir Drome." Irish, Jig (6/8 time). D Mixolydian. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The jig was entered twice into the mid-19th century music manuscript collection of Sliabh Luachra musician D. Curtin (No. 29, p. 11 [1]). Curiously, both nearly identical versions appear on the same page, separated by one other tune. The second time the tune was entered it was with the title "Laugh Eir Drome."
