FIDDLER'S KEY, THE. Irish, Reel. G Minor. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. Composed by Chicago fiddler Liz Carroll. The liner notes for the album Trian II reveal that Carroll "listened to a tune on fiddler Martin Hayes' first album, went about doing some chores around the house, started thinking about how wonderful the key G minor is," and was inspired to write "The Fiddler's Key."
