FIJIYAMA. American, Hornpipe. B Flat Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. "Can be used as a clog" (Ryan's). The title is presumably a reference to Mt. Fujiyama, a volcanic mountain in Japan. Another volcanic mountain, Krakatoa, erupted spectacularly in the South Pacific the same year Ryan's Mammoth was published (1883),
