Irish, Double Jig. G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. This title is a "floater" but it has long been established with this jig. It was entered as "Fire on the Mountains" in the large mid-19th century music manuscript collection of County Cork cleric, uilleann piper and collector James Goodman.

Source for notated version: "Mr. Victor Power of Leap Co. Cork, a good amateur violinist, with much knowledge of Irish music, about 1875" (Joyce).
