FIRST COME IN WAS A BUMBLEBEE. AKA - "In come a Bumblebee." American, Song Air (4/4 time). Kentucky fiddler Owen "Snake" Chapman had a piece in his repertory called "In Come a Little Bee," but it is a different tune than "First come in was a Bumblebee," which uses a version of "Green Willis (1)" as its vehicle. The two melodies may each have been used for the same song, in different places, and Chapman's piece was played slower than a hoedown.
