FRAZER'S REEL (Ríl Uí Fhriseal). AKA and see "Collegians of Glasgow (The)." Irish, Reel (whole time). G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AB. Researcher Conor Ward points out that the tune was collected twice from County Fermanagh sources; the first, as "Frazer's Reel" from William Jones, and the second, as "Collegians of Glasgow (The)" from fiddler John Cathcart. The latter reel also can be found in the c. 1909 music manuscript of South Ulster curate, musician and collector Rev. Luke Donnellan, also as "Collegians of Glasgow". See note for "annotation:Collegians of Glasgow (The)" for more information.
