G. S. MACKAY. Scottish, Hornpipe. E Minor. Standard tuning (fiddle). AB. Composed by the great Scots fiddler-composer J. Scott Skinner (1843-1927), in honor of a fellow member of the touring group Dr. Mark's "Little Men", a boys orchestra [1]. Skinner himself was apprenticed to the Manchester-based band when he was nine years old.
