GALOP DE LA JONQUIÈRE. AKA - "Galope de la Jonquière." French-Canadian, Reel (cut time). C Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). The tune, labelled a 'Galop', but for all intents is a reel, was recorded in Montreal in 1929 by the debut of Jospeh Bouchard (1905-1979) on fiddle with an accordion player named Villeneuve (Albertine?).
