GALOPE DES PROSPECTEURS. French-Canadian, Galope (2/4 time). F Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AA'BB'. The tune was composed by Quebec fiddler Pascal Gemme, when in Whitehorse, Yukon. Pascal says it is representative in style of the kind of quadrille tunes played in and around Quebec City.
