GARTHLAND HOUSE [1]. AKA – "Prince of Wales Strathspey (1)." Scottish, Strathspey (whole time). B Flat Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB'. Composed by fiddler and composer Robert Mackintosh who had red hair and a fiery temper; thus his nickname, "Red Rob". He lived in Edinburgh around 1773 to 1785 and 1788 to 1803.
