GIRL IN DANGER [3], THE. Irish, Reel (cut time). D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). ABB'. The tune is from fiddler Alex Sutherland (1873-1967) submitted to the Nathional Folklore Commission in 1957[1]. Sutherland was from Toome, Drumreilly, Co. Leitrim. The second strain of the tune has similarities to the first strain of "John Doherty's Reel (3)."
