GREEN COUNTRY QUADRILLE, THE. American, Quadrille (6/8 time). USA, northern N.Y. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AA'BB. Bayard's source, Grimshaw, identified it as a Canadian tune, but it also is a 6/8 cognate of "Flop-Eared Mule."

Source for notated version: fiddler Bradley Grimshaw (resident Coudersport, Potter County, southwestern Pa., although had bee born and lived much of his life in northern N.Y., 1958) [Bayard].
